the Scientific Advisory Board of the Nanopolis World of Knowledge
The role of the 77 is to act as an editorial board assisting Nanopolis to select the areas of scientific achievement in the field of nanotechnology to be explained by multimedia within the “World of Knowledge” platform in Nano science and technology . Each of the 77 members is a specialist in a particular field of nanotechnology– having already contributed to the development of the Nanopolis multimedia encyclopedia series.

Nanopolis courses soon downloadable
In response to requests from Universities and Research Institutes to reduce costs and allow wider access to our multimedia products we are currently working on a platform called “World of Knowledge”*. The “World of Knowlegde will allow users to easily create interactive nano-bio courses, manage classes and evaluate students online.
Until the online service is launched we offer the following to our valued clients :
- downloadable multi-media editions (20% cheaper with no shipping fees)
- University / Corporate license consisting of packages of unlimited site licences of the Nanopolis Trilogy.
- the 300 existing Institute/University partners will be provided with a non-transferrable, site specific licence at no additional cost.

The Nanopolis QUIZ competition ends
More than 1500 students have tested their nanotechnology knowledge during 3 months, between Oct-Dec 2005. The winner of the competition was Angelo Albonico from University of Torino, Italy who collected the grand prize: a Nanopolis Trilogy consisting of "Exploring Nanotechnology", "Exploring Matter with Synchrotron Light" and "Exploring Matter with Neutrons" multimedia encyclopedias. Congratulations to the winner!
