"Exploring Nanotechnology" for high tech professionals

Nanopolis

You have been developing and selling cutting edge products and yet somehow you have lost track of progress and breakthroughs in other emerging fields of science and technology.

  • Is there a way to regain your general view of high tech ?
  • How time consuming do you think it will be ?
  • Will it be enjoyable ?
  • Will it be more than just another review article?

Try “Exploring Nanotechnology”,  a fascinating glimpse of tomorrow’s technology – nanotechnology!

You will discover:

- 300 animations of nanotechnology concepts validated by 200 hundreds research groups worldwide

- references guiding you towards in depth knowledge about each chapter

- actor diagrams showing who is who in the field of nanotechnology (~ 3000 companies/research groups are listed here)

You don’t believe us? Have a look at these impressions or check out our co-authors list.

The 1st Nanotechnology multimedia encyclopedic courses are now available!

Do you know which properties of nanomaterials make them attractive for revolutionary applications? What can we do with such materials anyway? Do you know what is the connection between a day at the beach and nanotechnology?
How can anyone 'see' and manipulate individual atoms and molecules? How can one obtain the full structure of macro-molecules? How about nanometric thin film thickness or carbon nanotubes' diameter? You have heard of many types of atomic scale imaging instruments. Do you know how they really work? What is the difference between them?
What possible improvements can nanotechnology bring to life sciences? Are these improvements already on the market? Who is producing?
How can one produce nanostructured materials? Which are the technologies already available at industrial scale? Who is using them and for which products? Am I already using nanotechnology?
Learn about the future of technology in an interesting and easy way.
Compare the various technologies by their properties as well as by the development of each field. Understand each technology at a first year undergraduate level and find out how to get more info and which are the major players involved.
Be prepared to meet your future!
